You're welcome Peter.

You are correct, for laptops it is indeed a tree, for an iPad or similar it is an arrow.

Cheers,

Darren

The caveat is that the file size is restricted to 2mb. Any problems drop me a PM and I will share my email address. I will then upload for you.
Very helpful... I never knew that! Strangely, on my laptop it's not an arrow but an outline of a tree with blue sky and green grass = "Insert image" Be that as it may, that's something I've learned ... so thank you!  .

Hey thank you so much for the information regarding uploading a picture! I have figured it out and I hope this comes through to you. I will take a few more pictures soon …
I totally get what was said about the colour option and indeed, it’s all about here and now and enjoying current trends and what is available for a unique vehicle like the one we all own!

By the way guys, I’m having issues with maps and more and if anybody is on iPhone and has done update iOS 11, please read my thread… It is driving me bonkers ha ha

It is there mate, it just starts at the bottom of the last picture. You’re welcome btw.

A nice looking car you have too. I do like the silver, classy looking IMHO.

Finally decided to get a High Up TSI, in white, the compromise colour in our family.  We were about to order new but found a pre-reg with our spec and same discount as we would have got with the diesel scrappage scheme, and it also save the 12 week wait.

We also got the larger 17 wheels and I wanted to ask if anyone here has fitted rim protection like the Alloygator product?  Do they work ok with these alloys?  I am worried about the smart new alloys because we have managed to curb alloys in the past and these look more difficult to refurbish?

thanks

Congratulations on your chosen car Graham. If it is the polygon alloys, then yes, they will be fairly expensive to correct should the worst happen. I've not tried any rim protection myself, but I have replaced them with 14 inch steel rims and winter tyres to safeguard against road salt for the next 3 months or so. Conventional silver alloys seem far more durable to the elements than the diamond cut black and polished silver ones.

If you do opt for rim protectors, I'd be interested in seeing how they look and hearing your views.

Cheers,

Darren

I had to wait 2 months for my pre-reg as VW won't let dealers sell pre-reg cars until they are 3 months old.
