Took delivery of my 75hp Up! 10 days ago and am astonished by how good a small car can actually be. Great fun to zoom around in and lots of nice touches like the fact that the CD pauses when you turn the volume down to 0, or how the back-lit instruments dim to tell you it's time to switch the lights on.

Anyway, the only thing I could fault it on if pressed would be the weedy engine - ok around town, but a bit gutless on the motorway

Roll on the GT... as long as they don't put pointlessly firm suspension on, I'll be ordering one.

GT still off the horizon I'm afraid....looks like VW are pushing the up down the eco route rather than the pocket rocket one....shame as I've been waiting for a GT(i) version too

Pity. Everything seems to be eco nowadays, even fun.

If a GT does come along it looks like it's going to be an Audi !

So £4000 extra for the 4 rings on the front, then
