Hi Folks,

I'm in need of a 12v feed in the boot of my 2013 Groove Up. Ideally, it would be in the shape of a standard cigarette lighter style socket. I was wondering if anyone knew if there are any 12v feeds accessible in or around the boot, before I do a bit of exploratory surgery?

I'm hoping that there might be one near the light clusters?

Failing that, can anyone tell me where the bulk of the wires are bundled from the fusebox towards the rear end of the car?

Cheers
Andy

Hey Andy,

Did you have any luck finding a rear socket (or something for use as a rear socket) in the back of your groove up? I'm in a similar situation, looking into how to power things in the boot!

To be honest, I never got past having a look inside the access panels
for the rear light clusters. It's something I would still like to do in
time for next summer.

The power feed was for charging a small leisure battery by the way. I did ask an auto-electrician mate of a mate, and he highly recommended running a new 12v feed direct from the battery/alternator in the engine bay, fused at both ends. I think I agree with him.

Cheers
Andy
