3 doors, white with black roof and dual zone climate control.

0% 3 year PCP plus a very decent trade in price on our 8 year old low mileage High up! Swung the deal over a Seat Ibiza FR.

Really good fun drive and decent ride over the rough lanes hereabouts.

Lane assist takes a bit of getting used to but it can be switched off.

The synthetic noise was nice and a lot more subdued than expected.

3 month lead time so not too long to wait.

Well done, the 3 months will wizz by.

I鈥檇 like to see someone come up with an isolator for the sound actuator as for short and medium length trips it鈥檚 really quite entertaining but for long trips I鈥檇 like an off switch or volume control.

Yes I鈥檇 like a volume control on the sound actuator so I can turn it UP as I love the sound even on 300 mile plus runs :)

I understand it鈥檚 already set to 100% if you look at it with Vagcom, sadly it can only be turned down not up. I guess you could install a second sound actuator to boost the noise though.

Well done VWXYZ another UP GTI soon to be on the road.
I cant hear the sound actuator on my car.Perhaps the Manager of the dealership who had the car had it turned off.
The engine is nice and quiet most of the time, but with a nice roar if you put your foot down.

PCP is the way to go now that the price has gone up to 拢16,000
Back in 2018 we paid 拢14,000 for our five door with the panoramic roof and a few other options.
At that price it was worth buying outright.
Now the PCP option makes a lot more sense, as the list price doesn't matter so much as the deposit and monthly payments.

Drove my car today and you know what I quite like the sound actuator again, hard I know but if you take it really easy there is no noise and when you put your foot down a bit like having a K&N filter fitted (those on this forum over 30 years old will understand what that is) there is a snarling noise that reminds you you鈥檝e just put your foot down.

I think the actuator may be a little situation dependant though鈥 short fun trips 馃憤鈥 long distance slogs鈥 馃憥 hence my previous request for an off switch of some kind or like those exhaust valves an on switch.

I remember K& N filters and how about Twin Choke Webers. If its memory lane time then who remembers Spangles and sherbet dips?
I am still not sure if the sound actuator does work on my car or if it has been turned off,but i am happy with it as it is.
As i said in another post if the fuse for the actuator has been removed, perhaps the fuse is shared with the 12 volt socket which would explain why the socket is not working.

I think my old TR6 was the first mass produced car with fuel injection (Lucas). It was useless in town getting clogged up,but was great on the motorway.
Bright red, wire wheels and overdrive. Those were the days.

I remember thrashing about in my old Ford Escort XR3i when I was 18, thinking it was so cool to have fuel injection.

In a lot of ways, the Up! GTI has transported me back to those days of tearing about everywhere!!

I think the first fuel injected car I had was a Capri 2.8 Injection Special. Superb car. Probably owned that around 1990. First car I鈥檇 ever owned with an lsd and half-leather Recaro seats. Went well.

Yes, property wise I鈥檇 need a single bed house a bit like a very small flat with at least a 10 car garage attached鈥 heated and ideally with a car lift so I could easily get on with stuff.
