Hello, future up! owner here.

I wanted to add the comfort pack to the base car but have been informed it could mean a 4 month wait and I can't justify £1000 to go up a model to get it since it really isn't THAT important.

So I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be possible to add this with an OEM kit later?

Thanks!

I am sure you can add central locking third party but the OEM one may prove more difficult, as the CANBUS system is also updated to a higher version to allow for the extra features. I would expect a third party one to be fitted with or without a remote transponder for around £200-£250.

I had to order my Take Up to get theConveniencepack and also wanted Maps & More which is also a factory fit as the car comes as standard without a socket, which I do think kis madness for those that may want to upgrade later on!

Yeah the lack of socket is annoying especially considering the Seat (and maybe the Skoda) comes prewired to upgrade later.
