Hi,I just came across

Got me wondering, has anyone attempted to get a flexible LED strip and place it in a similar spot?

Why not go the whole hog and have a full pair of smiling LED lips?

Smiling LED might be cool. I probably should read up on what the regulations are over here before I venture down that path

i've got about 4m of leds, i might give it a go, not sure where to feed the wires though as i dontthink the black ''lips'' have any holes and i dont fancy drilling any holes in my poor up!

The 'lips' are all grille, there's more hole than there is plastic.

Haha they price the grills up from the amount of holes not the amount of plastic

had a brief look at mine last night and didnt see any holes, didnt look all the way around though, just at the sides as i was parked close to another car

You know, you're right! I've never looked that closely at the grille before, and although it has the grille pattern all the way around, only the holes in the centre are open!
