Ok, so I've currently got Bridgestones on my Sport Pack Up. It's come about that I need to replace a couple. I've got the choice of Dunlop SP Sport 9000 or Continental Premium Contact. Any suggestions? My main concern is MPG. 185/50R16V

Cheers,
Tim

I can recommend the Continentals - quiet, good in the wet andthey did not seem to impact mpg figures. I've tried Dunlops in the past (not the particular tyre mentioned) but found they were a little soft and, as a result, did not last very long.

You can view ratings for each tyre here;

If you are looking for improved mpg figures, pick the low rolling resistance tyres from your preferred manufacturer. For the Continentals, try:

I had Continental Premium Contacts on my Lupo and loved them, when it comes time for new summer shoes on the up! it'll get a set of the Continentals.

Contis are great....mine was supplied with bridgestones and they seem ok, certainly not too noisy and good mpg...79.8mpg on my 26 mile commute this morning (driving like an OAP!)

In all honesty, those 2 tyres are both mid range so will offer pretty much zero difference, especially on an up. So you may as well take the cheapest, or go for what you would rather have written on your tyres. I'd personally choose the Continentals as the car is German.

No, it's Slovakian, so it needs to be fitted with Matador tyres. And, no, I hadn't heard of them either!
