Has anyone put black VW badges on their Up GTi like the image below?

I have them on our T5.1 camper and they look great.

Not quite like that but I have black Plastidipped my front VW page and removed the rear one

Looks good & nice to hear about items being removed, rather than more stuff being stuck on (not rear wipers though, as that is weird)

I'm with the less-is-more camp I'm afraid, so long as functionality wins out!

Yes the removing of the very useful rear wiper is a strange one but popular in some circles .
Cleaner looking lines but bugger all rear vision in bad weather lol !

You might watch Fast n Loud where they sometimes have cars, usually hot rods, where someone has removed external door handles. On the cheaper builds, this means you have to leave a window open to open the door from the inside, or more expensively, fit a 'door pop' solenoid that opens the door for you.... Nuts!

I want to know that too. I just thought it would look good on my GTi and if I could change the chrome surrounds on the front fog lights to match the rest of the front trim it would look great.
