what width are the tires on the takeUp! id look in the manual but i don't have my Up! yet

The up black has 185/50/16s if that helps you. That would render 205/40/17 the correct size for 17s should you want to go larger

195/40r17 & 215/35r17 are a bit lower than 185/50r16
205/40r17 & 225/35r17 are a bit higher than 185/50r16

Taking into account the massive power under the bonnet I wouldn't go for either the 215 nor the 225

I went for 205/40r17 on my 17 inch
