Hi allHad Move Up for 2 weeks now.

Twice now I have put my foot on brake pedal and couldn't push it down - today I was driving up to back of stationary car at about 5 miles/hour.

What is going on!!!!!!

Thanks for help

Is there anything rolling around the floor under the pedals?

Sounds like something's preventing it from going down. Age1950 is right, it's usually something rolling about on the floor.

You are quite rightly concerned, so straight back to the dealers and get them to sort it out; Other than selling you the car, that's what they're there for.

Thanks for quick response. I thought it might be the city braking business but don't think I have that?

seems it may be servo prob - car being towed to vw dealer tomorrow. The brakes have 'gone hard' twice in the space of 2 weeks, done 200 miles. Hoping they can fix it, however if they can't replicate ie intermittent fault it may be difficult. However I am quite partial to a fight! Let you know...

My Up towed to dealer this morning.
The servo pipe (pipe?) had a leak in it and is being replaced.

Bit of a concern so early on but hoping it is not a prelude to other problems...

Now driving a Fiat 500!

Excellent service from VW Assist.
