Hi Guys

Have converted to a single din stereo without canbus adaptor

Have lost all car data on maps and me which I liked

Has anyone fitted the ISO connector with canbus?

If so does the data then start working on the maps and me?

Does it not depend on whether the new radio can emulate the functionality of the old one, even if you do connect canbus to it? As far as I know, your PID or phone gets the car data from the radio unit, which just acts as a 'relay' for canbus information....

thanks for the reply, I think there is more to it, you can get ISO connectors with a pulse sensor as well, just keen to see if anyone on here had any experience with them and after fitting what did and didnt work

I'm pretty sure the PID won't work with anything other than the OE headunit, and seeing as the Up! is the only car besides the Seat Ibiza to use the PID, I doubt anyone makes an aftermarket radio that is compatible with it. The nav should still work, but that's about it!
