Hi
I want to change my gear stick knob and the leather boot from standard to a up white !

Any advice on how to do this has anyone taken theirs off ?

Anyone done this I really like the white stitching in the leather part of gear stick the gear know looks better too

You should be able to lift the gator from the bottom. Then it should be a copper coloured clip holding the gear knob on?
Do cut the clip just try and open it.
Your need gear knob should then be pushed on until it clicks into place, then the gator placed downward a clipped into the trim.

Never done this before but shouldn't be too difficult

Will be a nice upgrade together with the leather steering wheel!

You might be right ? Have to change bits on up as Z4 is company car get a new one every 3-6 months
