Hi All,
Well it looks like my new Rock Up! might be the latest victim of this re-occuring issue,

having just done over 1000 miles, i decided to start opeing the taps up a bit and immediately noticed a frictious noise when depressing the clutch above 4000rpm.

I have just taken it to my Dealer TL Darby Volkswagen, in Burton on Trent, ad their gearbox specialist took me out for a drive in it, he said that they havent had this problem themselves yet, but he acknowledged straight away that there is clearly a problem.

it is booked in for three days on thursday, so they can get to the bottom of it, interestingly, he seemed to think it might not be the thrust bearing but some kind of plate not aligned correctly??

the only saving grace is that they have said that whatever it is, will be fixed, as ive only had the car a week.

I'm so far very impressed with them as a dealer, and i know some of you havent had such positive experiences, so I feel pretty lucky so far.

I will keep you all posted, but I was curious to know if any of you have had any sure-fire solutions?

HiI'd be interested in what the fix was for this?
I've just test driven a 1 year old Groove and it made the same noise.
thanks
Adam
