just to preface this- i know absolutly nothing about replacing engines or anything of the sort.

but i was just curios to know if it would be possible to replace the engline of a UP... with a battery and make it fully electric, ive seen loads of people do it on older vehicles ie - a e30 or a 911. but i was wondering if it would be possible at a smaller level like this, and how it would be made possible.

It's most likely possible, with enough cutting, joining, wiring, goodness knows what, anything is possible. I have even seen the VR6 engine be put into the up.

To save yourself the hassle, there is an electric version of the up! already on sale ;)

i have seen the e-up's i was just thinking of if a custom convserson was possible as doing things yourself and having the expericance is 10,000% Better than throwing some money at it, and it was only hyperthetical anyhow and ive also seen the VR6 one and i would assume that would be much easier than making it electric lol
