I need a bit of help and wondered if any of you guys would be able to help.

My front bumper has been damaged by who I suspect to be one of the building contractors going in or out of the work sight which unfortunately now live next too and of course no one is owning up to it.
I'm not sure if it can be repaired or will need replacing due to the metal being torn, I've had a look on eBay for a replacement but not sure where else I could get one from without paying a ridiculous amount of money.

Here's a picture of my not so Happy Chappy
I've outlined the damage so it's easier for you to see

G'day,

Here in Australia there is a Company called "The Touch Up Guys", and they specialise in bumper repairs and stone chip repairs, and they come to you.
Is there any one like that similar in the UK that can do mobile repairs.
l had some small damage on my Up!, and they fixed it like brand new, and the cost was less than the insurance excess would have been.

I'd be rageing!!!
Sorry to see this.

I would be getting in touch with who ever is charge of those contractors and threaten further action as in getting the police involved etc because its not like that just happened by itself and whichever vehicle has done that has bound to have some damage on it as well so should be easyish to track down the culprit.

Hopefully you can get this sorted easily enough

Thanks for the suggestions guys, will look into it properly tomorrow, emails have been sent off to the building developers but probably won't hear anything back until Monday now.I'm really gutted as it's my first car and I absolutely love it and taking as much care as possible, just a shame not everyone out there does the same.

So sorry to hear of your experience. I took out smart protect with my new car and have called them out twice so far. Once done you would not know there had been any damage. I hope you get it sorted soon.

This part of the bumper is plastic so repair looks relatively easy. If you can get someone to own up all the better, but a good body shop should be able to fix this relatively cheaply.

Just a little update, got a few of quotes all around £200 and still waiting to hear back from the site foreman after he tried to say it was my fault, or that it looks like something has come out from behind the bumper.

On a slightly different note, the car has gone into VW for a rattle coming from under the dash/bonnet. Every time I go over a pothole or bump in the road over a certain depth, it sounds like the twanging noise when you used to flick a ruler against a school desk (not that I ever did that
)

The technician working on the car couldn't replicate the noise as the roads around there are too smooth, but as soon as I took him out on the roads I normally use, it wouldn't stop and he has no idea what it could be. So now without a car until Friday, but just so happen to have 3 days off work in this glorious sunny weather
