Hi all!Does anyone know, is there a way to adjust dashboard illumination?
I find it a little too bright at night and can't figure it out from the User Manual.

Only 130 miles on my Tungsten BM 75ps up!, will write later

Now you mention it, I'm not 100% sure, but I think there is a control down by the light switch? Next to the headlight adjustment switch?

Hi b82ry.
I managed to turn down the radio display illumination using radio buttons.

I'll have another go and see whether I can dim down the instrument panel from there too.

Cheers!

it works for all dashboard/ buttons/ radio display illumination, there is no way it can be adjusted separately.

I guess in that case the light on the instrument panel is set to minimum already.
Oh well.

Thanks for your help.

I tried it last night. Radio display brightness control only affects radio display, not the instrument pannel.
Maybe my car is not as clever as yours b82ry :)

I read somewhere that on the Up theres a light sensor in the dash that adjusts the brightness automatically! On other VW's like my 2011 Polo theres a little roller switch that you can adjust the light, but on the Up it just does it itself!
