I would love to have something like that in my Up! But how difficult is it to put it inside the headlamps?

Interesting point because the E-up is an actual production vehicle. Somebody who has access to the VW parts list should be able to find the part numbers for these and order direct from VW.

..... but they'll be around 5 times the price from elsewhere!

Agreed, they look very cool indeed, and furthermore they sort of play on the rear light form language...

You'd have to buy a complete e-up! bumper, as the mounting, nor the space in the grille to fit the LEDs and allow the light to shine through, will be there.

I'll second that. I prefer the original DRLs over those "fairy lights".
