Hello,

As I have the sport suspension on my Up and the engine block is really low to the ground and also the timing belt.
As the winter is coming I'm starting to search for the engine guard, because all the dirt will get straight in to the timing belt.

I have searched for the engine guard, but w/o success.

Has anybody planned to also install engine guard?

Regards,
Matiss

The engine is naked from downside and if you're turning to the right, then the right wheel is throwing all the mud and dirt on the timing belt, because the arch is not closed wellenough.

As the car is made for city use, there are no original accessories, to fix this.
You know, in Riga/ Latvia roads in winter are not the ones you want to drive on Up. An A-class SUV is compatible.

You might want to look at Skoda CityGo. They had a bad road package at least here in Sweden to install under the car handling this kind of problems.
