I brought my car to the garage this morning to fix the shield in between the exhaust and the bodywork, and in addition to this work, they have done an upgrade for the engine software, has anybody received it in their car? Do you know what is that upgrade for? Thanks!

First annual service carried out last week at 6300 miles by supplying Main dealer. Also included (on a separate Worksheet which I was also asked to sign) was an Engine Software upgrade. I was told this is a mod to the cooling fan. The life of the cooling fan will now be 'extended. Appartently, the cooling fan was cutting-in far too frequently.
