Hi,

Last week my car had some problems with an empty battery like several times, even after replacing it. Now it seems to be the amplifier.

I am looking for a new one, but while I do have Fender sub and speakers, it is a panasonic amp.

Can anyone else with a Groove !Up from around 2013 confirm the amplifier is indeed a Panasonic or that I am missing a Fender amp here?

I found a few to replace mine, but they have newer HW and SW versions. I wonder if that would be an issue.

I would think it is universal 8 channel amp. It would be too expensive to produce a whole lot of different amps for different systems and setups.

Mine:
Panasonic 5K0 035 456 D
EAA101A
HW H07
SW 6615
produced in 2013

New one (second hand):
Panasonic 5K0 035 456 E
EAA101C
HW H09
SW 6631
produced in 2016

The new one also comes from an !Up

Minor revision numbers - very unlikely to be functionally different. Often down to changing something as basic as a manufacturer for a part, or a minor board change to accommodate say, a differently sized equivalent part.
