I
took my High Up! - Black edition on it's first long motorway journey at the
weekend. London to the Midlands on the M25 and M40.
The
car performed much better than expected. I thought with the small engine
I would have to 'go along with the flow' but if you really want to overtake
oraccelerateinfifth gear you are able to. On the return it
managed climb of the Stokenchurch Gap really well. This is somewhere
my Fiat Cinquecento in the 90's
alwaysembarrassedme! We even overtook a new Renault
Cliocomingup the hill!
The cabin noise was less than expected and the 150 mile
journey used about half a tank from full. Another impressive touch was
when we were about 15 minutes from home on the return the fuel light came on.
The SatNav asked if I wanted to be directed to the nearest petrol station.
