Hi new move up 2019 owner. Once I get a chance to post in newbies section with pics I will..

I have an issue with the front headlights in my car.

Lightset to off both DRL’s are on and working.(agree this is correct)

Switch to side lights just both DRL’s are on.(is this right)

Switch to main headlights and full beam both headlights on and only one DRL’s is on (this cannot be correct).

Can anyone advise what is meant to happen?
Thanks in advance
Kevin

The DRLs have two brightness levels.
When driving with no headlights, DRLs use the bright setting. When on sidelights, the DRLs are also on the bright setting, but also the rear tail lamps come on.
When using headlights, the DRLs go to half brightness (by law)
When parking the DRLS are used as sidelights at half brightness (and if you use L or R on the indicator stalk, you can select only the left or right side, as opposed to both being on).

I think you have either a failed fuse to one of the L or R DRL (you didn't say which) or less likely, failed low brightness LEDs on one side. Or a bad connector.

If however, with ignition off, you select L or R on the indicator stalk and the appropriate side does illuminate at half brightness, then the fault lies elsewhere. If one side does fail to light up, check fuses as I said.

Thanks for that lift the stalk and drivers side not operational.
Had a look at fuse diagram on here and fuse 4 and 22 however both seem good.

however not very good at working out what way these go.
Anyone tell me what corner one is on?

Update
Rear drivers side sidelight also not illuminating at same time as front. I’ve now looked at every fuse none seem blown. Still likely suspect it is the fuse though.
Took rear light off and bulbs are good in it.
Will check all fuses again tomorrow.
Cheers
