Never had this problem with my POLO's :( afraid to move the mirrors in case they snapped any suggestions to keep them moveable ???? I live in S.E. London so not really that cold

Don't try to force them. Wait until the temperature rises again and then try to move them gently back into position.

Hiya, thanks thats what I thought but by the time I had to drive it home back to frozen :) so could spend all of the freezing weeks with no mirrors unless I take a chance and leave them out and hope they dont get knocked off.

Squirt wd40 on the joint could prevent it happening maybe? You might have to do a couple of times a week, I use it on the frozen gates and locks at workEdited by: Itzben
