My daughter has dropped gum on the seat of my one week old Up :(
Good ideas how to remove it?

It is at a very visible place on the front seat.

Also..
I need a good seat cover for when I am done with my running trips rund and about.
I sweat a lot and have not always Got a chance to chance clothes.
Good ideas to ustabile covers, that protect the seat from my dripping?

Hi Andreas,

can you read / understand German?

I had a look at www.frag-mutti.de ...
(a website called "Ask your mama" with tricks how to manage household problems)

I found this for the gum: http://www.frag-mutti.de/verschmierten-kaugummi-aus-stoffen-mit-radiergummi-entfernen-a9822/
It says: Take a soft rubber ... The gum will join with the rubber ... It works with jeans and other clothes ...

Another trick is cooant spray (if it's "in" the seat)!
Spray onto the gum so that it gets hard. Now you can break the gum and pull it of ...

Don't know what the sweets exactly did to the seat ...
Photos might be helpful ...

For seat covers, I use these for my front seats:

http://rhinoukbootlinersltd.co.uk/covers-for-seats-with-air-bags-3725-p.asp

They're waterproof and fit well. The only negative point is that the head rest covers are more suited to seats with an adjustable head rest. The seats on my Citigo are all-in-one and the head rest covers with their elastic bottoms do look a bit awkward stuck on top. However, the seat covers themselves are excellent.
