Hello all, recently purchased a used 64 plate high up for commuting to work. Am loving how nippy this little motor is

Recently tried to upgrade the DRLs to LED and ended up blowing multiple fuses am now without dash, rear and front lights (dipped and brake lights work). Looking for any advice to help me trouble shoot.

Hi there, and welcome!

There's a nice set of lists/diagrammes of fuse assignments at https://fuse-box.info/volkswagen/volkswagen-up-2011-2017-fuses, which they've animated here:

I would start by testing the relevant fuses under the dash (above the driver's footwell), as they're easier to get to, but it is possible you've blown the ones further upstream, which are located inside the dash. Also worth checking/mentioning that the new bulbs must be listed as compatible with the original 12V, W21/5W style bulbs (such as those here: https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/580-7443-21-5w-led-bulbs/ - you shouldn't need the CANbus compatible ones). If replacing the fuses isn't enough to get things running again, let us know!

Hi thanks for the reply, eventually got it sorted was missing a blown 15A fuse that didn't look blown. For reference always test for continuity or both points rather than by eye.
