Our up! is only a month old. Both indicator repeaters have water ingress. Not that it should be relevant, but a pressure washer has not been used on the car. It's a very simple fix, of course, but disappointing that VW's quality control isn't perhaps what it should be. Presumably there's a bad batch. The maddening thing is that the stealership wants the car booked in and taken down to them and left with them -- all for a 30-second per side fix -- which will cost us about an hour of our time plus the petrol to get there. I am not happy, to say the least. And the salesman who we dealt with doesn't seem to be answering my e-mails. Call to VW UK HQ looming, methinks.
