I've been pondering booking my pride and joy in at JBS to have their Traction Control Switch installed.

I'm rather hesitant about modifications, as I would like to keep my Up! GTI as close to factory standard as possible. However, I feel this is a necessary upgrade that should really have been included with the car as standard.

Before I bite the bullet I wanted to see if any of you had already had the switch installed at JBS, and if so, what your thoughts were on the work carried out.

I believe member Danbo has had this mod done to his car. They use a factory switch so it looks OEM.

Unless it's changed, I think the switch used is actually one for radar cruise or something. Not saying it isn't OEM, but it's probably not exactly how it would have been from factory (had they decided to allow us to switch TCS off)

Disclaimer: I appreciate that JBS have chosen the very best option available and I think they re doing great things for GTI modifications.

Yep the button is this one. Works flawlessly.

If however you did not want this, JBS could fit a hidden button in a number of places. Completely up to you!
