Hi all,
For the third time in less than 2 months, the check engine light has come on. VCDS reports 2 faults with the lambda probe post-cat, one which seems to be an early warning (at city speeds) and the second (which trips the light and MIL ON) after a while at motorway speeds. Same pattern of fault codes every time. After the 2nd time the light tripped the probe was replaced, but 3 weeks on it's gone again. Seems unlikely the new probe's died that quickly!
All bright ideas welcome - thanks in advance.

The plot thickens... Having thrown it back at the dealer while it was still under warranty, along with another reoccuring fault, it was handed back with the second fault fixed and a fixed smile regarding the check engine light. All was well over a range of distances and speeds until last week, when I was starting the return leg of a long journey and the check engine light came on again (despite what the freeze frame below says, I was doing ~40mph and accelerating up to dual carriageway speeds at the time, having only done city speeds since the engine was started). Only the single fault code this time which tripped the MIL ON due to running too lean again (ignore the timestamp - it's wrong, unless it took 2 days for it to turn the light on after tripping). Checked the fuel trim, which is consistent with the engine running lean. From various people I've asked in this process, it seems unlikely to be the MAF (which either works or doesn't), and it's had several Redex treatments so probably not the injectors/fuel filter, which means we're leaning towards the fuel pump. I've found a YouTube video that goes through the test procedures, but if anyone else has ideas of things to check, I'm all ears.

Is the air filter correctly seated? Any form of air leak will flag a lean mixture fault code, normally misdiagnosed by people who end up fitting a lambda probe instead....

Many thanks for the suggestion. The adventures started not long after it went in for its major service, so the filter is certainly a possibility. I will have a look tomorrow.

Checked the filter today - all appeared to be well.
