Probably a silly question, you've got that fly eye business on those lights haven't you? I kinda like it.
Do the new bulbs make reversing at night easier, do they throw more light?

Ahh. Nice :) mine are on order.
My led rear indicator bulbs arrived today, clear LEDs that flash amber. I've fitted them, the look great, and there are no error lights on the dash, but the green arrows now double time, as does the click, as if there was a bulb out :( the actual indicators still flash normally. Given how much of a pain the rear clusters are for big hands, they can stay like it for now!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-x-13-SMD-Xenon-white-LED-bulbs-R10W-1156-BA15S-245-sidelight-/230850557126?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item35bfc3f4c6

Got them fitted today.

Left side normal bulb
Right side L.e.d.

Sorry about fuzzy photos (Iphone and the flash fired)

I have also bought such a set.. It looks good, but when I put the car in reverse, and then run forward, the reverselight blink every now and then..<div style="line-height: 16.7999992370605px;">If you then turnthe caroff and on, there is no problem until I again put it in reverse..
<div style="line-height: 16.7999992370605px;">

<div style="line-height: 16.7999992370605px;">Someone who has experienced this?

I might not be the L.E.D.s it could be a sticky reverse switch at the gearstick end.

That's the indicator bulbs I used, like I say though, does double flash on the dashboard, but work as normal outside.

Those are the HB4 fogs I've just swapped to, and finally,
http://www.aceparts.com/2x-red-24-led-baz15d-566-12v-stop-tail-bulbs.html
I switched the brake/tail lights for these.
I do intend to get some canbus indicator LEDs at some point very soon as the double flash is driving me barmy!
If they are flashing more than 60 times per second, they are also illegal, so watch out for plod

Fix and DIY for poor reversing light in UP.

<a href="http://eud.dx.com/product/1156-ba15s-10w-850-1000lm-6000-6500k-white-light-bulb-for-car-dc-12-16v-pair-844135243" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eud.dx.com/product/1156-ba15s-10w-850-1000lm-6000-6500k-white-light-bulb-for-car-dc-12-16v-pair-844135243

Due to camera mode, they glare a bit - but if you look at the snow on the ground, you can see the amount of light - said to be close to 800lm.

What you need:

from left:
Rotary rasp (to enlarge holes in plastic housing to make room for the larger bulb), LED-bulbs from DX.com - and the bulb to be removed.

1.
Remove cover to access wing-nut for removing rear light - unscrew all the way.
2.
Gently remove electrical plug (pop up the red lever first).
3.
You should now have the entire backlight housing in your hands :) -> pop open all the clips around the edge. -> Take off back cover.
4.
Locate the bulb for reversing light and the hole that corresponds to this bulb.
5.
Take a drill with a rotary rasp or similar (a sharp knife can do - it will just take longer) and widened the hole until the LED bulb will fit in.
6.
Put it all back in place - reverse order....

They strobe 4 times each - kind of a silent "Watch out - I am backing up my car" - Far better than that annoying beep-beep-beep
