Why do people want to lower an up and what advantage is there in doing it. I would have thought the up was low enough. Interested to know. As you may have guessed I am a Newbie
It's about customisation, making the car different and making it yours.
Obviously it's purely aesthetic too, although it does make the car handle incredibly well too!
^that all depends on what coilovers you use mind.
My ride quality is fantastic, especially considering how low it is and that front end had no helpers, no bushes and solid adjustable too mounts!
I have Weitec Hicon GTs.
Having looked the the FKs, the first thing that struck me is the dreadful quality of the welding on them. It's a joke.
Then there's the awful ride quality. Also, they don't seem to go as low as mine do.
You really do get what you pay for - personally, I couldn't be happier with my Weitecs.
I second what Dave says about the Weitec.
I had cheap coilovers on my mx5 before and the ride was horrible. With the Weitec's the ride is better (minus the low profile tyres) than my stock Corsa.
Yeah I'm running the FK AK Street coilovers and the ride quality is disasterous.. My car sits quite low on them though to be fair and that's all I was really looking for at the time! I'm looking into air but I quite enjoy being static
My friend was in the car yesterday and his exact words were "this is possibly the most uncomfortable car I've ever been in"
