Great colour, very striking. And totally agree with your last post M5 SUT, it was only a matter of time before someone said it.

Of course honesty is the best policy, but there's also a thing called diplomacy. It may be only an opinion but opinions don't always have to be voiced and I don't understand why someone would want to say something just to offend

Certain peeps (no names given or intended, well maybe
) really need to wind their neck in. Completely agree with Clowesa. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but rightly or wrongly if I thought something very negative I would just refrain from commenting and move on to read the next post. It's a bit regular with some people. Maybe just attention seeking? Or a compelete wind up merchant?

I don't see the harm in saying you do not like it. I have a while coloured Up. In a recent post someone said they don't like white or black cars. I have no issue with that. And didn't a lot of us say "yuck" when someone posted an Up that had been modded with new wheels, lowered suspension etc.

That isn't my favourite green, but you cannot tell from a photo. Red Ups don't look brilliant in some photos, but in reality it is a lovely deep red. The one colour I do not like is vomit. It is a sort of orange. Oh, and pink. No, no, no. I used to hate white cars. But now I think some cars really suit it.

I think the Ford Fiesta comes in that green, or very similar.

There do seem to be some cars that are in fashion at certain times and others that are timeless

Do you remember the browny-purple colour shifting rover paint or the turquoise metallic ones.....or how about the orange ford escort Mexico ....or any metallic gold car......very 70's.

Now white, red, black and silver are what I'd call timeless.

Leif, no harm at all no. But some posters just seem to post negative comments or reply in such a way that it just not very nice! This is a pleasant, friendly forum and sometimes there is just no need for sharp responses.

When I post my pics on Wednesday feel free to say yuk

You're right of course Leif, and I have absolutely no problem with people saying they do or do not like something. It's how you say it that's all.

And me saying I don't like white or black cars, well that's simply a generalism. It's like posting that I don't like spinach, I'm sure that wouldn't offend all the spinach lovers in this world.

But this wasn't just a picture of any old car, it belongs to one of our members who wanted us to see it and I just think that it was impolite to knowingly post a comment that was likely to offend.

It's a matter of personal taste and in my opinion green is the worst color of them all for a car.Unless of course it's a Jaguar then it's pure class.

Talking of 70's styling!

Love it
Opel Manta complete with bulging body kit. Is it "Magnum PI" in the driving seat?

I also had a "baby blue" Opel Kaddet of 70's vintage, I will have to scan a picture and post it.
