Went to register Maps and More yesterday. Installed Fresh no problem. Then kept getting error message 'Fresh Server did not respond - error code FS3'. Eventually got to Navigon helpline by phone.
Open Navigon device in Windows and format the internal memory. Then from Fresh folder under My Navigation Device click 'Device Restore'. It takes about 4 hours to do. Mine did not work properly first time so had to repeat procedure.
Then take device to car - plug in and switch on ignition.
Then return device to USB connection and it registered fine.
Posted this in case someone has a similar problem - will save a fair amount of time on Navigon's phone line [not Freephone number unfortunately].
Also discovered there is a volume control for the Satnav voice in the Navigation options settings
