Just a little update as to what I have done so far:

Led boot light
12" sub in boot
W8 Interior light
Up logo in steering wheel
Audi TT pedals
Night breaker plus bulbs

Things to be done:

Led lights in mirrors
Sound deadening
Mud flaps (maybe, haven't quite decided 100%)
Stubby ariel
Would really like to upgrade speakers but not in the budget at the moment

I will uploads some photos when she is clean and shiny

The sub in the boot, where have you got it, In the spare wheel well or just in a box like normal?

W8 is dead easy, but you have to join a wire to the blu/white wire at the light switch.
Yes I didn't want just one led ;-)

Which wire does it have to join to? Do you have to run another from the loom?
Fair does, looks good. Two does the ticket for me :)

When you buy the W8 lamp an extra piece of wiring is needed as the loom in the car is different to that on the lamp, but that said there is no problems with the installation as the new wiring has an extra wire that needs to be run down to the light switch, part number is [3B7 947 105 F 2EN] wire adaptor part number [KUFA33360]
You can see parts here (it is a Danish web site but you can buy the parts in the uk)

When you pull the light switch out ( turn lights on to side lights and push in then turn to head lights and pull at the same time) there is a blue/white witre that the new wire needs to be connected to.

I thought you had to run wires up the pillars? If you don't I can feel another mod coming on

You do have to run one wire from light switch to W8 lamp but it not such a hard thing to do

Hi exaapatrol. Is the W8 lamp a straight swap for the original, or did you have to cut the headlining to get it to fit? Also is there any issues with sound deadening or thickness of the W8, such as does it hard touch the roof for example. I'm thinking of doing this mod and wanted to get the parts this week if possible to do this weekend when I put my sub in, which is the same as yours, but I'll keep it in the box. Thanyou in advance.
