Discussion Starter #1 (Edited)
Had my up for about 7 months it’s my first car and I’m in the progress of modifying it.
The mods I have done so far are as followed:
Tinted rear windows
Team dynamic pro race 1.2 alloy wheels
Nankang ns2 tyres
Ram air air filter
Decals (side stripes + sunstrip etc)
4D number plates
Team heko wind deflectors
Phillips bulbs all round
Tow strap ( controversial but I like it)
Tinted lights front and rear
Aftermarket Sony stereo (DAB+)
Subwoofer
Debadged rear and silver up decal
Dewipered for the clean look

Mods I have on order or plan to do:
Paint rear drums black
Paint front calipers silver
Gloss black Shark fin to replace Ariel
Piano black mirror caps
Gloss black spoiler have it just needs paint
Rock up rear diffuser
Painted front number plate area
Wrapped roof gloss black
Power flow exhaust (single tip each side)
Coil overs (to hide that hideous arch gap)
Private plate with ‘up’ on it

Hope you guys like my project (I know some won’t) any feedback or things I can do or change would be nice.

Nice looking car, especially so as it is your first. Good to see the personal touches taking shape.

mine's dewipered and it does look cleaner when the car is clean, but i have to keep a rag in the boot handle to give it a quick wipe as with the horrendous weather recently the 65% tint goes to 100% in about 500ft, but the rear wiper was pretty useless to begin with.

That tow strap is going to do a great job of wearing away the paint on your front bumper.

Maybe so if I didn’t fabricate a steel tube and use a longer bolt to space the strap from my bumper...
Is the spacer longer than the tow strap is in length?

Coz otherwise when you are moving the strap is still going to touch your bumper.

Come on Bob, get down with the kids......
But yes you're right, I travelled about 100 miles in the Mii yesterday and the rear wiper must have been used once every mile, it was lousy out there.
But I expect you and I still wear jeans that sit comfortably on our waist too. Vive La Difference.........

HcarUp. Whether we like it or not is kind of immaterial my friend, it's yours.
I personally think individuality is fun and living in a remote corner of the NE it's fun to see the creative side, I hardly ever see another car let alone another UP, Mii.
