hi had my citigo sport now for about 2 months, 750 miles later and i
still love it costs nothin to run and does what it says on the tin!

i
came on this forum as i was very curious if anyone has tryied to do the
1.2 turbo conversion on a citigo sport vw up or seat mii? (as all basically same car!)

any
info on if it can b done or not would b greatly appreciated! as i
believe if this engine were to fit in a one of these cars it would b 1 of the
most fun cars to drive around !

I guess You need uprated gearbox (6 gears) and clutch as minimum to upgrade to 1.2TSI. And after all this set there is only question of enough space.

If they designed it around the Polo/Golf, then it won't fit in the Up without a lot of relocation and mods.

There's 85 PS & 105 PS versions of it too, would be pretty pointless trying to install the 85 PS version IMO!

the 105 ps version engine would b the best bet to put in the citigo with a few minor mods u could get up to 120 bhp which in a car this small and light would b very fun to drive! i was hopeing that someone with lots of £££ already had this idea and would of already had a go at it, but seems not hehe
