Seen this a while ago, as much as I hated the old (current) Golf, I still dont think VW have it right. I could be wrong when I see it in the flesh! I still much prefer the Polo ..... or obviously the Up!

Methinks the golf needs a diet! Look at the difference between the MKI and the MKVII. They've lost their way in my opinion. I also much prefer the Polos these days.

I love it and want one! Our family car is a mk5 and its about the right size for a family of 3.

There was a time when Golf stood out in terms if build quality and you got what you paid for but many of the other manufacturers have now caught up. I don't think our current car which is a Golf Mk 6 is any better built or a better drive than other similar cars in its class that I've driven. Nether the less I wouldn't swap it any love the car!
