Hi,
I wonder if anyone can tell me what the sound is like without the soundpack - is it terrible or ok?!
I was interested in aMove Up! in candy white, and it just so happened that when I went to the dealers they had oneavailable with M&M and spare wheelfrom a cancelled order.Dealer told me that if I placed a factory order it would take around three months, so after some consideration, Iordered the stock car last week. I don't have it yet because they arewaiting to sort out paperwork with the DVLA - dealer had applied to register the car in theoriginal customer's name, and because they couldn't proceed there is now a process togo throughtto deregister the car and register it to me as the first owner. Not sure how long this is likely to take, but am hoping to have the car by the end of the month.
I am just getting a bit wobbly about it because if I had placed a factory order, I would have ordered the sound pack, and stupidly, I did not check the quality of the sound in the car without the sound pack. Now, in all honesty I tend to just listen to the radio in the car, and make fairly short journeys, so I don't need a fancy sound system. But, after reading some of the other posts, I'm wondering if the sound is really terrible without the sound pack?
Also, I read something about 2013 spec - so I take it the spec of the car is changing already? Does that mean if I get the stock car it is going to be devalued by the fact that it's not the most up to date spec? I am wondering if I would be better off placing a factory order with sound pack, alsogetting the 2013 spec and 62 reg in the process, althouth the wait would probably kill me!
Any comments/advice appreciated!
