Hi, is anyone aware of a VW parts price increase last month?Went to purchase a spare wheel & tyre for my Up and was quoted the 'new 'price of £41.65 for the wheel & £61.57 for the tyre/fitting.

The cost of the jack/nut/wheel brace etc to be added to the above.

I just got some black wheel centres which were something like £68 instead of the previously posted £45.

68 pounds!!! Are they having a laugh? They should be free with all black wheels! And if I wanted a pair instead of the white ones I have, I should be aloud to exchange them for a discount at least!!

Isn't there a difference between summer tire previously and winter tire now?

Yes there was a price increase on UP wheels last month,up from about £25 to £35.

Hi, I asked if my up could be delivered next month on winter tyres from the factory but was told this isn'tpossible. Anyone know different?
As for a spare I didn't order one but just got a set of VW alloys with tyres from ebay for £50 so will use
one of them. I will go to a scrapyard for a recent vw jack that will be cheaper than the dealers.
