Has anyone used black Plastidip on the front and rear VW badges on a facelifted Up? I was wondering if the VW would show through as it is ever so slightly raised compared to the black background.

Finally got round to this after having a can of plastidip in the cupboard for about a year. My son asked me to dechrome the car and I finally got round to it. He likes it but I am on the fence. I do prefer it to the chrome though.
If you fancy giving it a go then wait for a dry, warm and still day. Then make sure all the trim is squeaky clean. Mask up and hit it with 5 coats with 20 minute gaps. Leave for a few hours and then peel off excess using a tooth pick for the delicate areas.
