I have bought an Android radio which is 1 din for my 2014 Skoda Citigo. It can swivel, rotate, move up or down and pull in or out. It is an 10.25 inch wide head unit with wireless Apple carplay and a DSP.

I have seen that there is a fuse in the original radio. A few videos said I'd need a piggy back fuse holder between the ignition fuse and the head unit itself. Does someone have experience with this? Do I really need the piggy back fuse holder?

Here are 2 videos as an example:

For the people that are interested in the radio I bought: It's a Dasaita Vivid 10.25 inch.
