Hi I when purchased my Up!I asked the dealer to retro fit parking sensors. I am aware that when these are a factory fitted option that they connect to Map + More device to show a visual distance indicator as well as the audible indicator, however the dealership are telling me that this is not an option on the retro fit sensors which I cannot believe!!! Can anyone advise?

My colleague just retrofited parktronic for his Tiguan (Cobra manufactured) they were ordered from VW genuine accessory catalogue. Alsono indicationin the big radio.So I guess that's how it is - You won't be able to get retrofited parking sensor visualisation on M+M.

I had this when I bought my Audi A4. I asked the
dealership to fit "official" Audi parking sensors (no doubt the same as VW
ones). I too was disappointed not to see any display on the display unit, but
worse than that, when reversing my caravan I now get a constant beep, beep to
contend with! I asked if this could be reprogrammed to be off when the caravan
is connected via the factory fitted towing electrics, but the answer is No!

aftermarket parking sensors are simple independent devices, not what you would expect!
