Well the time is here for my second service, I was wondering what work is done.

Would think it would be the same as your first service.
Have got mine booked in for its second service also, and as its at a "Capped Price", l am expecting the same as before, as it's at the same price.
l think the forth service might be a bit more involved - maybe air filters, brake fluid etc.

40,000 service did involve quite a bit more...cost me just under £200 having its 50K service Vsoon!!!!

still pretty cheap imho, when I had mercs, it was £1000 every time they opened the bonnet!!

That's good to know thank you. I'm guessing the 40k service will be my 4th year service? I'm doing sub 10k a year, nice to hear yours are going strong :)

Indeed, so-far, the ups have been the most economical, least troublesome cars we have ever owned....maybe we have been lucky but either way, it makes VW a hard act to follow!

Know where you are coming from.
Had a Smart Fortwo - about $400.00 to $500.00 Australian Dollars just for a minor service.
Loved the car, but service cost were a killer.
