Hello forum!

During my holiday I'm trying to upgrade my up! with some small changes. I wasn't happy with the white background on the front logo, so i decided to make it black! Iacquired some black adhesive film from the local graphic shop and started the dismantling!

First you need to loosen the three Torx T25 screws (#2 on the picture below):

Then you loosen thefour bumper hooks by pressing them while pulling them bumper out. They hooks can be reached through the four holes ("B" on the picture above):

The logo is then removed from the the back side of the bumber. As you can see on the picture below, there a quite a few hooks! And not only that, they are glued as well!

You can easily see where the logo has been fitted

Fitst I cleaned it with soap water, then withisopropyl alcohol, and finally wiped it with a microfibre cloth - then we're ready to go!

Haven't got any pictures from when we applied the film! But there are LOTS of tutorials on Youtube. I soon found out that it was not that easy to apply on curvy surfaces. Got my girlfriend tohelp me out - really appreciated that!

And finally: A white up! with a black nose! Perhaps i shoul call it Snoopy!

That's all for now

Watch out for the Red Baron!

Perhaps if they release an up! in yellow, it could be called Woodstock?

Nice one. Think you're well brave to have done that. Not sure I'll have the guts to try something to mod my little white up. Good work! Think it looks good.

I'd like to remove the whole thing but unfortunately that would require costly cosmetic surgery by a qualified specialist.

I think it goes great with the "smile" in the bumper and it still looks quite original - maybe even a bit more exclusive

Just a quick picture from today - think it looks quite subtle :)
