Hi. Just bought my first Up! last week in the UK and loving it. Found your forum when asking a question about unlocking the petrol cap. Nice to know it's comfortable to ask what may appear basic questions when just starting with an Up! Thanks again.

Just don't ask about heated seats!I'm a simple soul - four wheels and an engine with access to music and I'm happy lol! Don't need to get complicated.

You also need a good heater in a car which thankfully the UP has.
As for the Tepid seats...........we wont mention those.

Yup - when it's reliable, lots of mpg, enjoyable to drive AND easy to park it's even better imo!!

High Up 75 on a round trip Midlands to Mid-Wales with two bikes on the top. We still managed 46mpg with all that although what is interesting is just how much a small increase in speed changes the fuel consumption.
It was 52mpg on the A roads and hills from Dolgellau but once we hit the A5 and ran at 70 it dropped. That will mostly be the drag from the bikes as it will happily run at 58mpg on a 100 mile motorway run.

If you have a wife and/or children, you will find that fitting them on the bikes (on the roof) with a big pulley, will only help mpg at lower speeds.
