I have noticed a rumbling noise in left- and right-hand bends from the front wheels at 'roundabout' speeds. It may be because the car is otherwise so quiet, or because I have winter tyres fitted which have tread overlapping down the tyre walls a bit. I haven't tried the car with summer tyres yet, so no reference point.

Has anyone else experienced this noise?

Yes I have since fitting my winter tyres, seems more noticeable on some roads than others.

OK, thanks. Probably just the tyres then.

If the car was a few years old, I would say it was the wheel bearings - it's that sort of noise, but as it's brand new, I can only assume it's my winter tyres. If I am still getting the noise in the spring when I put the summer wheels & tyres back on, I will talk to the dealer about it.
