Hello Up! owners,

I have my TakeUp! for almost 4 years now, still runs great and i'm still loving it.

Since I love the look of the facelift rear lights but for the moment I don't want to spend around 300 quid to retrofit them, I found a more economic way to obtain that look.

I paid a local company to design and cut a decal made from Oracal car-wrap vynil and have them installed on my rear lights in seconds. It just cost me 50 quid but I think it's worth it.

I'm sure they look fine with the lights off, but if I'm being honest, they look a but messy illuminated.

Not to mention you've covered over most of the indicators and reverse lamps.

Nice though they may look, I’ve never fully got the practice of covering or tinting lights, I want them as clear for other people to see or for me to see with as possible.

Here in the UK I think you’d be asked to remove them when the car had it’s mot inspection (if the tester was nice) or handed a failure notice and asked to return for a retest once you’d removed them.

Can't say I'm a fan, most of the indicator and reverse lamp is covered by black vinyl, not a good idea. But it's your car to do whatever you want with it....
