Hello all ! Taken the plunge, and purchased a 2019 GTI. What a great car ! Had a stupid grin on my face the whole way home from dealer. He'll be a replacement for my wife's beloved Beetle, which suffered from terminal electronic issues (£400 for the airbag unit codes ? I don't think so.)
So far, so good ownership-wise. Insurance was reasonable, as was road tax. Looking forward to further drives out, once this damned lock-down finishes. Will keep my eyes out for others - any Herefordshire UP! GTI owners out there ?

We are on the Herefordshire / Worcestershire borders near to Clifton Upon Teme...... I see another UP GTI at Bromyard when I walk my dog on the Downs.... Other than that one there seem to be few UPs around here. Did you buy from Worcester or Hereford ?

Bought from a dealer in Wakefield ! Will keep my eyes peeled when we head towards Worcester in future.
