Hmm, I did consider that when taking up the free offer.If are unfortunate to have an accident that results in a claim you "only" loose 2 years of your NCP, so it not too much of a penalty.
Also protected NCD's are a double edged sword. If you do have a claim, yes, your NCD is protected BUT you are stuck with your existing insurer as if you tried another they would bump your premium up because of your accident record. Then your current insurer can increase your premium if they choose to, making it uncompetative. Edited by: Rooster
