Hello All!

I am collecting a 6 month old high up tomorrow, super excited.

First thing I want to do is upgrade the (only) 2 front speakers.

Could anyone suggest the best speakers to buy (around £40) and where I can get them fitted? Is Halfords a no no?

Thank you!!

The stock speakers on the up! are actually pretty good. Only the really low bass frequencies are missing, and you won't get those from a set of
£40 speakers.

The best add-on would be an underseat or boot mounted subwoofer.

How easy is it to do a under seat sub? And when they are on do they make the seat vibrate?
Also how much would a half decent 1 cost? Will I have to get 2 for both seats or will one be substantial? Hmmm you planted the seed in my mind now! I'm going to have to look into it, an if I remember rightly theres a helpful how to thread on here

Hi Itzben. I've got a 12" sub fitted in my boot to "fill" the hole in the rear of my car and add some decent bass. I've got an Edge EDB12.
Here's the link:
<a href="http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_723259_langId_-1_categoryId_265872" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_723259_langId_-1_categoryId_265872
</a>
They also do a Vibe under seat sub, but it's £179 each!

The link for the under seat install is here:

I hope this helps.
