Want to buy a set of wiring adapters to fit facelift rear lights without reordering wiring plugs as i will have to fit original lights for MOT as fog light missing

Could something like this be made to work?
VW Up! RETROFIT Adapters Rear Lights. NO REPINNING. Plug & Play | eBay
Plug the adapters into your new rear lights. Fit the heatshrink sleeve over the joint. Rear lights. PLUG & PLAY. Plug the adaptors into your car harness, with similar faces together as per picture #3.
